One was a billiards whiz, one a bowling queen, another a mah jongg maven, and still another a would-be synagogue leader. The 12 retirees, including 10 from New Jersey, who died when their tour bus plunged off a mountain road in Chile last week were active, vibrant and passionate - determined to make the twilight of their lives as exciting as possible.
